Sourcherry pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with sourcherry in Mozambique
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A sourcherry pod kit from the value options in Mozambique costs about MT3.53 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: sourcherry in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry pod kit really costs in Maputo
Sourcherry sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested sourcherry in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.53 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for sourcherry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
