Sourcherry pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Sourcherry in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Sourcherry in Maputo reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: sourcherry in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry pod kit really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested sourcherry in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is sourcherry legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sourcherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.74 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
