Sourcherry pen device IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Sourcherry is allowed to say
If you are looking at sourcherry in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Sourcherry sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry pen device really costs in Maputo
A sourcherry pen device from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT3.15 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sourcherry in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
