Sourcherry mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Sourcherry is allowed to say
We run sourcherry the same way in Maputo: same mesh tank, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry mesh tank really costs in Maputo
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.99 per 10 ml.
How we tested sourcherry in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.99 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for sourcherry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
