Sourcherry cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Sourcherry is allowed to say
Sourcherry cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Sourcherry in Maputo reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: sourcherry in Maputo works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Sourcherry cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sourcherry in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.89 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sourcherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.89 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
