Sourcherry cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
If you are looking at sourcherry in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sourcherry cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Sourcherry in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sourcherry in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in Maputo survives.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sourcherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.04 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
How long does sourcherry in a cartomizer last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
