Sourcherry in Maputo: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Sourcherry box mod here
Sourcherry sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at sourcherry in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: sourcherry in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry box mod really costs in Maputo

How we tested sourcherry in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.

On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.66 per 10 ml liquid plus MT53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
