Sourcherry 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a 60 ml bottle for sourcherry
The honest read on sourcherry: 20 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at sourcherry in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: sourcherry in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested sourcherry in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in Maputo survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for sourcherry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.65 per 10 ml liquid plus MT30 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does sourcherry in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
