Sour RDA IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you are looking at sour in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour RDA really costs in Maputo
Sour in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sour goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.41 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
