Sour nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Sour in Maputo: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a nicotine salt bottle for sour
We run sour the same way in Maputo: same nicotine salt bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, nicotine salt bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.02 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.02 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for sour in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
