Sour mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
Sour in Maputo reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A sour mesh tank from the value options in Mozambique costs about MT2.55 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour mesh tank really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at sour in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sour in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sour goes wrong
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Maputo survives.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for sour in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
