Sour 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
We run sour the same way in Maputo: same 60 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sour in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: sour in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
The honest read on sour: 19 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sour goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.4 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT56 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.4 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
