Sour 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good 30 ml shortfill from a repack
Sour 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
The honest read on sour: 6 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does sour in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
