Sour 10 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 6 units tested over 3 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sour habit
Sour in a 10 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A sour 10 ml bottle from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT2.46 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: sour in Maputo works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour 10 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
The honest read on sour: 6 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.46 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
