Sour 10 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good 10 ml bottle from a repack
Sour 10 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour 10 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
The honest read on sour: 19 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT54 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.64 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 10 ml bottle.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.64 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
