Sour 10 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Sour in Maputo reaches the shelf in 10 ml bottle formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: sour in Maputo works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour 10 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested sour in a 10 ml bottle
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sour goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Maputo survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 10 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.05 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT49 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.05 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a 10 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.05 per 10 ml liquid plus MT49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
