Salted sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Salted in Maputo: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Salted in Maputo reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A salted sub-ohm kit from the flat-rate options in Mozambique costs about MT2.7 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
Salted in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Maputo survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.7 per 10 ml liquid plus MT37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does salted in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
