Salted squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Salted in Maputo: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with salted in Mozambique
A salted squonk mod from the flat-rate options in Mozambique costs about MT1.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run salted the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: salted in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted squonk mod really costs in Maputo
We run salted the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.71 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
