Salted in Maputo: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
The honest read on salted: 20 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested salted in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.08 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Entry kit | MT54 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.08 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does salted in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
