Salted refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Salted in Maputo: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted refill pack really costs in Maputo
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.66 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
How long does salted in a refill pack last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.66 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
