Home / Salted RDA IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist

Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit

Salted in Maputo reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.

Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

The short version: salted in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a salted RDA really costs in Maputo

Salted RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

How we tested salted in a RDA

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
2. Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
3. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.

• Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
• The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.

Where salted goes wrong

• Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Maputo survives.
• Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
• Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.

The rules that apply here

Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
