Salted pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Salted in Maputo: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The honest read on salted: 18 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted pod kit really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at salted in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | MT65 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.65 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does salted in a pod kit last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
