Salted nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Salted in Maputo: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
A salted nicotine salt bottle from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT2.23 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Salted in Maputo reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested salted in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.23 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
