Where buyers go wrong with salted in Mozambique
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.92 per 10 ml.
The honest read on salted: 17 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted box mod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at salted in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
