Home / Salted 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist

What the label on Salted is allowed to say

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

A salted 30 ml shortfill from the budget options in Mozambique costs about MT2.95 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a salted 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo

Salted in Maputo reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.

How we tested salted in a 30 ml shortfill

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.

• The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
• Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.

Where salted goes wrong

• Treating the advertised MT32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.95 per 10 ml.
• Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
• Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

The rules that apply here

Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
