Salted 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Salted in Maputo: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
The honest read on salted: 24 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Salted in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.18 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Salted | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | 100 ml bottle | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 24 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT33 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.18 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does salted in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.18 per 10 ml liquid plus MT33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
