Raspberry squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Raspberry in Maputo: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the raspberry habit
The honest read on raspberry: 9 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Raspberry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.69 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long raspberry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a raspberry squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Raspberry in Maputo reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested raspberry in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing raspberry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Why does raspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the raspberry blend itself harsh.
How long does raspberry in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.69 per 10 ml liquid plus MT64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
