Raspberry pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Raspberry in Maputo: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Raspberry pod kit here
Raspberry in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on raspberry: 18 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: raspberry in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a raspberry pod kit really costs in Maputo
Raspberry in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested raspberry in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a raspberry bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.7 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |

| Format | pod kit | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT49 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.7 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should raspberry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Is raspberry legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On raspberry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.7 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
