Plum vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with plum in Mozambique
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.46 per 10 ml.
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum vape pen really costs in Maputo
A plum vape pen from the value options in Mozambique costs about MT3.46 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
