Plum RDA IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 22 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on plum: 22 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run plum the same way in Maputo: same RDA, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plum in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum RDA really costs in Maputo
A plum RDA from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT2.22 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plum goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.22 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
