Plum nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Plum in Maputo: 21 units tested over 3 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run plum the same way in Maputo: same nicotine salt bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plum in Maputo works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
Plum in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plum in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
