Plum disposable vape IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a disposable vape running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: plum in Maputo works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum disposable vape really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested plum in a disposable vape
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the disposable vape, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Plum | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | disposable vape | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 12 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT46 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.55 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is plum legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
How much does a disposable vape cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.55 per 10 ml liquid plus MT46 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
