Plum box mod IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Plum box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Plum in Maputo reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum box mod really costs in Maputo
We run plum the same way in Maputo: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.0 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Maputo survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for plum in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Plum | Decides coil choice more than strength does |

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |

| Entry kit | MT50 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.0 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How long does plum in a box mod last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
