Plum 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Plum is allowed to say
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run plum the same way in Maputo: same 60 ml bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plum in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
A plum 60 ml bottle from the best options in Mozambique costs about MT1.99 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where plum goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for plum in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.99 per 10 ml liquid plus MT54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
