Plum 10 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
Plum 10 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Plum in a 10 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum 10 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
A plum 10 ml bottle from the discounted options in Mozambique costs about MT2.61 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a 10 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.61 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
