Plain sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 17 units tested over 2 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with plain in Mozambique
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Plain sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
The honest read on plain: 17 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Maputo survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.79 per 10 ml liquid plus MT34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
