Plain starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Plain is allowed to say
Plain in Maputo reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain starter kit really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested plain in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.9 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
