Plain prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a prefilled pod for plain
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Plain in Maputo reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
A plain prefilled pod from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT1.81 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
