Plain mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
Plain in Maputo reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain mesh tank really costs in Maputo
We run plain the same way in Maputo: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plain in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plain in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
