Plain 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
We run plain the same way in Maputo: same 100 ml bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Plain in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

| Entry kit | MT53 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.85 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
