Plain 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 24 units tested over 9 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Plain 100 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on plain: 24 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: plain in Maputo works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Plain in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a 100 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Plain | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | 100 ml bottle | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT55 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.03 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does plain in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.03 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
