Plain 10 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 21 units tested over 2 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a 10 ml bottle for plain
We run plain the same way in Maputo: same 10 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plain 10 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain 10 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.79 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a 10 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plain goes wrong
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
