Pear squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 10 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Pear in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Pear squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested pear in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.58 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Pear | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | squonk mod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 10 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT62 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.58 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does pear in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
