Pear refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 10 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Pear in Maputo reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: pear in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear refill pack really costs in Maputo
The honest read on pear: 10 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.76 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Pear | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | refill pack | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 10 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT68 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.76 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
