Pear pen device IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 11 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
If you are looking at pear in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear pen device really costs in Maputo
The honest read on pear: 11 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.91 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for pear in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | MT59 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.91 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does pear in a pen device last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
