Pear mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Pear mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear mesh tank really costs in Maputo
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.05 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.05 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
