Pear cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 11 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
We run pear the same way in Maputo: same cartomizer, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A pear cartomizer from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT3.12 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for pear in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Is pear legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
