Pear cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 23 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Pear in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Pear in Maputo reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where pear goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
