Pear 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.61 per 10 ml.
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: pear in Maputo works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
A pear 30 ml shortfill from the value options in Mozambique costs about MT2.61 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where pear goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.61 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
