Pear 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 15 units tested over 3 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
Pear in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
We run pear the same way in Maputo: same 100 ml bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested pear in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for pear in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
